Equity, diversity and inclusion are more than just buzzwords and greater than any social agenda – they are a moral imperative.  Architects have a duty to protect the health, safety and welfare of the public and the only way to meet this obligation is to be as diverse as the communities we serve. With the dual headwinds of the financial costs of competitive EDI initiatives and a legislative environment opposed to such efforts, how do small businesses – especially small and mid-size firms – effectively thread the needle?
