ROAM THE DOME

Architects Roam the Dome is an annual event that brings together architects and legislators to discuss pertinent issues related to the architecture profession and the built environment in the state of Oklahoma. This day serves as an opportunity for architects to advocate for policies that protect the health, safety and welfare of the public, improve our built environment and protect our historic structures.

EDUCATION (Capitol View Event Center at 5201 N. Lincoln Blvd.)
12:30 – 3:00 p.m.
Join us for lunch.  Attendees will hear from Representative Daniel Pae, the Oklahoma Board of Licensed Architects, the AIA Oklahoma Lobbyist, Jan Loftis and more.  (2 hours HSW credit)

 

ADVOCATE (Oklahoma State Capitol at 23rd & Lincoln)
3:00 – 5:00 p.m.
We will split into teams and head to the Capitol to visit with Legislators.

RECEPTION (Vanessa House Beer Co. at 118 NW 8th Street, OKC)
5:00 – 7:00 p.m.
Continue your conversations with legislators at the Legislative Reception.  Beverages and food provided.
