Anthony Blatt, AIA

ADG Blatt

Tony Blatt, AIA, is Chief of Architecture and Operations at ADG Blatt and an architect with more than 30 years of experience delivering complex civic and cultural projects. A graduate of Oklahoma State University, he spent over two decades as a principal at Hornbeek Blatt before leading its merger with ADG. Tony played a central leadership role in the First Americans Museum in Oklahoma City, guiding the project from early planning in 1998 through its opening in 2021. Delivered in 14 phases from a single set of documents; his work reflects a commitment to stewardship, resilience, and advancing the profession, including service on the Oklahoma State Board of Architects.

Ronald H. Frantz, Jr., FAIA

The Frantz Alliance, LLC

Frantz is a graduate of the Tulane School of Architecture in New Orleans.  His work focused on historic preservation, Main Street restoration, and neighborhood revitalization.  For 43 years, Frantz worked in many small Oklahoma towns.  Much of his work was with the Oklahoma Main Street Center and the OU College of Architecture.  Recently, Frantz retired to focus on his small Oklahoma City-based consulting firm, co-founded with his wife, Mary.

Brad Gaskins, AIA

M. Bradley Gaskins, AIA, NCARB, CASp, APAC-BE is a registered architect with over 4 decades of experience in architecture, code compliance, and professional practice. Licensed in as many as 30 states during his career and currently licensed in 19 states, Brad serves on the Oklahoma Board of Architects, Landscape Architects & Licensed Interior Designers, where he is a member of the Investigations Committee and has previously served as Chairman, Vice Chairman, and Secretary/Treasurer. Brad has participated in numerous investigations involving responsible control, sealing practices, standards of care, and professional conduct. He is Managing Principal Emeritus of The McIntosh Group and has worked on more than 11,000 projects nationwide during his career. His experience as a practitioner, board member, investigator, and expert witness provides a unique perspective on the challenges architects face in meeting their professional obligations while protecting the public health, safety, and welfare.

Lisa Kelly, AIA, LEED AP

Beck Design

Lisa Kelly, AIA, has 19 years of architectural experience specializing in acoustically sensitive performing arts venues for higher education and community-based cultural institutions. Known for her collaborative leadership and organizational expertise, she effectively coordinates multidisciplinary consultant teams and stakeholder groups throughout the design process, helping institutions realize spaces that serve both artistic excellence and operational goals. She earned her Bachelor of Architecture degree, with a minor in Art History, from Oklahoma State University in 2007.

Lisa currently serves as 2027 President-Elect of the Eastern Oklahoma chapter of the American Institute of Architects and previously held multiple terms on the board of directors for Theatre Tulsa. She is also an active member of Tulsa Urban Sketchers, participating in monthly sketch sessions and facilitating community drawing workshops at Tulsa Community College.

Connie McFarland, FAIA

McFarland Architects

Connie McFarland has been an Architect for over 50 years. She plotted her career as an elementary age farm kid, who stayed on the path to graduate from both OSU and OU. Early in her career, Connie used her leadership skills while with big architecture firms for over 15 years before beginning her own firm 38 years ago. She has an energy level and management expertise used in many types of buildings. She has an expertise in hospitals, higher education and airport design. Connie enjoys public speaking and has presented at national AIA conventions and multiple conferences. She is the founder of the local chapter of Urban Sketchers, an international community art project.

Stirling Morris, CSI, CDT

From design conception through building occupancy, Stirling Morris, AIA Allied, CSI, CDT, PHIUS has a wealth of experience working with Owners, Architects, and Contractors in creating successful projects for the built environment. His principal focus is CSI Division 8 manufacturer representation. Along with a Bachelor of Science in Education, Stirling has been in the Construction Industry for over two decades. He has written and presented at AIA, CSI, PHIUS, and USGBC regional and national conferences. As a global citizen appreciating continuous improvement strategies for sustainable solutions, Stirling has learned there is never one right answer, but there is always a better answer.

Alina Osnaga, Assoc. AIA, NOMA, TiD-S 

Research and Design Alina Osnaga

Alina is an architectural designer and empirical design researcher working at the intersection of empirical sciences and the built environment. Her work focuses on how design influences human cognition, behavior and well-being, with an emphasis on translating interdisciplinary research into actionable strategies for practice. She brings a research-driven, human-centered approach to architecture, advancing the integration of evidence-based design in professional workflows.  She serves as an AIA Detroit Director, a member of the National Council of Ethics, a NAAB Accreditation Team member (2026), and an EDRA Board Member, contributing to the advancement of research-informed practice and architectural education. 

Kathryn Parkhurst, AIA, NCARB, TiD-B 

Guernsey

Kathryn is a licensed architect, educator, and design researcher focused on translating research into meaningful design practice. As an architect with Guernsey and an adjunct faculty member at Lawrence Technological University, she works at the intersection of architecture, environmental psychology, and Trauma-informed Design, exploring how the built environment influences human experience and wellbeing. She leads the credentialing program with the Trauma-informed Design Society, advancing Trauma-informed Design education for professionals worldwide. Through practice, teaching, and research, Kathryn advocates for evidence-informed, human-centered design approaches that bridge the gap between what we know and what we build.

Jana Phillips, FAIA

Jana K Phillips, FAIA was in traditional architectural practice for 24 years before pivoting into an owner’s role for Oklahoma State University.  She has witnessed countless Architectural and Contractor interviews in the past decade during her role as University Architect at OSU Long Range Facility Planning.

Kellie Reed, C.M.

Stillwater Regional Airport

Kellie Reed, C.M. has the pleasure of serving Stillwater Regional Airport as Airport Director. Ms. Reed has expertise in executive airport leadership, including responsibility for planning, directing, and overseeing major capital improvement projects; financial and property administration; business and air service program management; and airport marketing and communications.
Ms. Reed is a licensed pilot who began her aviation career in airport operations and airport rescue firefighting, and developed into leadership roles in executive airport leadership, safety and security compliance, and airport planning. She has had the privilege of supporting airports in the southwest, northwest, Alaska, and south-central regions.

His background in building enclosure consulting and multi-jurisdictional permitting across the U.S. provides a deep understanding of the complexities inherent in healthcare project design. Michael is passionate about delivering high-quality, compliant facilities that support safe, effective, and resilient care environments.

Fred Schmidt, FAIA

Fred Schmidt has over forty years experience providing leadership, management and business development services to the design industry. He has engaged in the Education, Native American and Civic market sectors as a principal program leader along with supporting the needs of corporate and research clients. Fred continues his engagements as a Special Projects Leader and sees his primary role as a guide for his clients, helping to bring their project visions and goals into reality. He is adept at stewarding multiple stakeholders through complex decisions that arise during the planning, design and construction process and at leading clients to achieve high quality design solutions.

Connie Scothorn, ASLA

CLS & Associates

Connie Scothorn is an Oklahoma Landscape Architect and founding principal of CLS & Associates (1999). She specializes in site design to create beautiful, sustainable places to complement the function of a project.  She prioritizes native plants in her designs where appropriate.  She has designed thousands of projects from residential gardens to parks and streetscapes and she has received multiple awards for design from the Oklahoma Chapter of the ASLA. 

In 2024, she co-authored the book “Oklahoma Native Plants, A Guide to Designing Landscapes to Attract Birds and Butterflies”.  She is a frequent speaker locally on using native plants.

Francis Wilmore, AIA

Ethos Architects

As a Principal and  Director of Design at Ethos Architects, Francis pairs theoretical visioning with client-focused project design to develop a culture of forward-thinking solutions within the office. He leads the firm’s AI research group where nearly 30 employees are exploring real-world applications for AI platforms. His passion for pushing boundaries and finding synergetic relationships within constraints leads to the design of non-traditional spaces. He has been honored with numerous awards for his design work and service within the profession.

Lauren Vaughn

Lauren Vaughan, Brad Gaskins, and Russell Lissuzzo support the Investigation Committee of the Oklahoma Board of Architects, Landscape Architects & Licensed Interior Designers. Lauren serves as the Board’s staff Enforcement and Compliance Officer, overseeing investigations, disciplinary processes, and enforcement activities related to the Oklahoma State Architectural and Licensed Interior Designers Act and Rules. Brad, an Oklahoma architect with nearly 40 years of experience in architecture, accessibility, and code compliance, was appointed by the Governor to serve on the Board in support of its mission to protect the public. Russell is an Oklahoma City attorney whose practice includes business litigation and administrative law. He assists the Board with investigations, enforcement matters, and administrative hearings involving alleged violations of the Board’s Acts and Rules.

Mary Womble, AIA

City of Tulsa

Mary E Womble, AIA holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Kansas and started her career in private practice for 15 years before transitioning to the role of Owner’s Representative Project Manager for the City of Tulsa.  She has served on multiple selection committees for Architects, Engineers, Construction Managers and Artists in her 18+ years at the City for a wide variety of public and public-private capital projects.
