James Pfeiffer is a Principal at BNIM whose strengths are centered around design, culture, and people. He is an award-winning designer and collaborator with a broad range of notable, significant project experience including higher education projects, cultural facilities, office buildings, adaptive reuse and civic spaces. James’ leadership and approach to human-purposed integrated design has resulted in quantifiable positive outcomes for his clients. His work has been recognized for design excellence and sustainable stewardship by national entities like the American Institute of Architects, Architectural Record, and the US Green Building Council.
James has presented both regionally and nationally at conferences for organizations including the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the Society for College and University Planning (SCUP) and has served as an adjunct professor and co-teacher for a comprehensive design studio at Kansas State University.
