A Chapter of the American Institute of Architects

Josh Dougherty, P.E., LEED AP BD+C

Josh was born and raised in Oklahoma City. Strong in math and a desire to create, engineering found him early in his college career.  He attended Oklahoma State University, majoring in civil engineering, and spending his free time visiting (some would say harassing) the architecture students in studio. While not creative enough to be an architect himself, Josh realized architecture students were more fun and exciting to be around than engineering students…which is why he’s here today.

After graduation, Josh began his career as a civil engineer doing site design for projects across the nation.  His role evolved into project manager leading multi-discipline design teams and then into business development.  He has been at CEC for almost 10 years and serves as the Regional Community Business Leader continuing to look for opportunities to serve the industry with CEC’s full suite of engineering and survey services and developing lasting relationships with clients…and still harassing architects.

Josh has been married to Kendra for 15 years and they have two daughters, Addy and Ellie (11and 9 years old).
