Shane is a Partner at Narrate (formerly Selser Schaefer Architects) and has been with the firm for 17 years. When he stepped up to become a partner in 2017, Shane embraced the leadership position as well as adding Finance and HR to his duties as Principal-in-Charge of our ongoing H-E-B Grocery projects, on-call Space Planning and Interior Design services as well projects at Philbrook Museum of Art and for the Muscogee Creek Nation.
Shane is a creative and meticulous architect, but he is also much more. His business experience plays a key role in the day-to-day operations, employee relations, and long-term financial success of the firm. Shane is also a generous teacher and mentor who fosters an environment to grow and learn. He is patient, thoughtful, and precise resulting in authentic connections with his teammates and clients and, ultimately, successful projects.
Outside of the office, Shane contributes greatly to the Tulsa community, serving in a variety of leadership roles supporting causes and initiatives both in and out of the field of architecture. He donates his time and talents generously, all while maintaining the level of professionalism and performance that anyone who knows him has come to expect.
