Andrew Klare, AIA, is a Design Director at Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates (KPF) in New York. Since joining the firm in 2001, he has led the design of award-winning projects spanning commercial, mixed-use, hospitality, educational, residential, and civic sectors across the globe.
A graduate of Oklahoma State University and recipient of the Caudill Traveling Fellowship, Andrew has contributed to some of the world’s most complex urban developments, including transformative projects in New York, Austin, Shanghai, Chengdu, Singapore, Dubai, and beyond. His work has been recognized by organizations including the World Architecture Festival, CVU, and the American Institute of Architects.
Throughout his career, Andrew has focused on the relationship between architecture, cities, and human experience, exploring how design can create meaningful places, strengthen communities, and improve quality of life.
Andrew lives in South Orange, New Jersey, with his wife Melissa and their two daughters. In 2015, the family was featured on HGTV’s House Hunters episode “Jersey Migration,” documenting their search for home and community.
