KEYNOTE: Danny Wicke, AIA, LEED AP

Danny Wicke, AIA, LEED AP, is a principal and co-founder of Prospect Studio, an award-winning architecture and design practice based in Wilson, Wyoming. Known for his thoughtful leadership and collaborative approach, Danny creates architecture that responds to place, strengthens communities, and enriches everyday life.

Danny’s career began at Auburn University’s renowned Rural Studio, where he helped design and build the Boys & Girls Club in Akron, Alabama. After graduation, he remained as an instructor and assistant director, helping lead the influential $20K House Project while advancing Rural Studio’s mission of using architecture as a tool for social good. During this time, he also helped curate exhibitions at the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Victoria & Albert Museum in London and spoke internationally about the program’s impact.

Before co-founding Prospect Studio, Danny worked with Wheeler Kearns Architects and Carney Logan Burke Architects, leading award-winning projects recognized by AIA Chicago, AIA Illinois, the Association for Learning Environments, and the Architizer A+ Awards. In 2024, he received the prestigious AIA Young Architects Award, recognizing his exceptional leadership, design excellence, mentorship, and commitment to sustainability and community-focused design
