Alina is an architectural designer and empirical design researcher working at the intersection of empirical sciences and the built environment. Her work focuses on how design influences human cognition, behavior and well-being, with an emphasis on translating interdisciplinary research into actionable strategies for practice. She brings a research-driven, human-centered approach to architecture, advancing the integration of evidence-based design in professional workflows. She serves as an AIA Detroit Director, a member of the National Council of Ethics, a NAAB Accreditation Team member (2026), and an EDRA Board Member, contributing to the advancement of research-informed practice and architectural education.
